Combined Undergraduate and Graduate Program, I/O Psychology
A master's degree in this area can lead to many different and exciting careers with a variety of different job titles. The (SIOP) is Division 14 of the American Psychological Association.
Students accepted into this combined degree program will substitute graduate courses for some of their undergraduate requirements in their junior and senior years. These graduate courses will count toward both their BS and MS degrees so that students can complete a master's degree with just one additional year at Salem State. The combined degree program can also save students money by reducing the total tuition expense for two degrees earned separately. The GRE or MAT entrance test is waived for students who apply for the combined MS/BS program.
Students must have completed 47 credits and have a GPA of 3.25 or better to apply for this program. Students must have completed 63 credits before they are admitted to the program.
To apply students need to submit the following materials to the graduate school to the attention of Jeremy Bubier:
- An application for graduate admission
- A copy of an official transcript for all undergraduate courses taken to date (at Salem State or any other school).
- A writing sample (3-5 page paper from an undergraduate course using appropriate references in APA format)
- A personal statement
- Three (3) professional references for graduate admission, two (2) of which must be from ´ºÃÎÖ±²¥ faculty members
- A resume (optional)
