About the Award

Established in 2019, the Charlotte Forten Legacy Award is presented to those groups or individuals who best exemplify a legacy of commitment to the mission and purpose of ´ºÃÎÖ±²¥.

Criteria

Each recipient must have attained notable achievement through contributions to ´ºÃÎÖ±²¥ in his or her professional, philanthropic or voluntary endeavors. Chosen at the discretion of the awards committee of the ´ºÃÎÖ±²¥ Alumni Association and Foundation.*
