Research Day 2025: Curiosity, Creativity, and Conversation

May 02

Research Day at Salem State is a longstanding tradition—more than 25 years strong—that honors the spirit of inquiry, imagination and academic excellence across our campus. This year’s theme, Curiosity, Creativity and Conversation, invites us to see scholarly work as a democratic process that builds community, expands understanding and deepens our shared responsibility to make meaning through connection and collaboration.

As is evident throughout the day’s events, research does not happen in isolation. It is shaped by mentorship, dialogue and a commitment to human connection. Today, we come together to explore a wide range of questions and ideas through poster presentations, performances and panels. Whether you are a presenter, mentor or guest supporting a colleague or loved one, we invite you to engage with curiosity and openness.
