Ambassador I – Undergraduate Admissions
Students will serve as admissions tour guides and greeters. Ambassadors will be required to contact students via telemarketing/tele-counseling, email and correspondence through social networking admissions sites. Projects may include assisting with training, organizing and scheduling campus events, answering emails, entering prospect cards, updating Facebook accounts and setting up conference rooms with admissions publications.
Admissions Desk Aide I
The Desk Aide will welcome all prospective students and families to the office. They are to respond proactively to phone inquiries and be mindful not to share information beyond the scope of their responsibilities. They are to assist in answering admissions and ambassador emails. They are to work cooperatively with other Admissions Staff members, this includes maintaining confidentiality about issues occurring at the front desk and throughout the office.
Admissions Community Communications Aide – Undergraduate Admissions
This student will assist the admissions counselor and be responsible for working with Community Based Organizations and Charter School students. They must counsel and instruct students on college procedures and processes and handle and respond to inquiries with thorough and accurate information. Furthermore, they will be expected to handle and process student admission application documents (transcripts, tests, scores, letters of recommendation, etc.) and maintain and manage student files in an organized manner.
All positions are required to work a minimum of 10 hours a week and will be paid $15 per hour.
