The Berry Institute of Politics will award up to 8 Salem State students a $3,500 stipend for the completion of an internship or other similar professional experience in politics or public service during the Summer of 2023. Internships must be at least six weeks with 20 work hours a week (or 120 hours total). Internships may be paid or unpaid. Eligible types of work include but are not limited to a political campaign, elected official’s office, government agency, non-profit, advocacy organization, or public interest legal services.
Award Amount: $3,500 each
