Political and Public Service Internship Stipends

The Frederick E. Berry Institute of Politics and Civic Engagement will award up to 9 stipends (of $3,500 each) to support eligible students participating in internships or similar professional experiences in politics or public service during the summer of 2021.  

Eligible types of work include, but are not limited to, a political campaign or elected official’s office; a government agency; a non-profit or advocacy organization; public interest legal services; or community-based research with faculty (sponsored by any institution). Internship stipends will only be provided to secured, identified internships with supervisor confirmation.

All application packets are due by Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 11:59 pm.
