This semester-long program will equip 10-12 undergraduate and graduate students with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience to work on an election campaign at any level or run for elected office. This program will be on campus and run from January to April with one virtual session and four in-person sessions. The first session will be a virtual orientation and the final session will include a graduation celebration. These workshops will be facilitated by political consultants from who have experience working with local, statewide, and national political and advocacy campaigns. Most sessions will also feature guest speakers including current elected officials and experienced campaign staff. Interested students will have the opportunity to secure jobs or internships with campaigns over the summer. Students who complete this series will earn a $250 stipend.
