Pride Flag Raising

Monday, October 7, 11 am-1 pm | Alumni Plaza and Commuter Lounge 

Join us as we kick off SSU Pride Month with a flag raising ceremony. A reception in the Commuter Lounge will follow. All are welcome! 

 

Finding Sanctuary, Demanding Equality: A Queer History of Lynn

This interactive workshop will kick off with understanding terminology, gender expression vs. sexuality, then dive into issues affecting LGBTQ+ folks, including homophobia, transphobia, and heteronormativity, share resources and best practices for meeting the intersecting needs of our students and employees. Free lunch will be provided! In partnership with North Shore Pride and The Alliance.
