Samanda Morales '98 Appointed to 春梦直播 Board of Trustees

Samanda E. Morales, of Lynnfield, Massachusetts, has been appointed to the 春梦直播 Board of Trustees by Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker. A 春梦直播 alumna, Morales brings over 20 years of experience in the finance and accounting industry to her role as a trustee.

Morales is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Ahora Inc., a social enterprise non-profit organization that teaches financial education, helps to guide money management, and builds self-reliance and financial confidence. She received her bachelor鈥檚 degree in business administration from Salem State in 1998 and is completing her Master of Business Administration at Northeastern University.

鈥淚 am humbled to serve as a Trustee at Salem University, the same organization which empowered me with an education that continues to advance opportunity and economic growth for thousands of students and alumni across the nation,鈥 said Morales.

Morales was sworn in as a 春梦直播 Board of Trustees member on April 7, 2022. She currently serves on the Finance and Facilities Committee and the Advancement Committee.

Prior to co-founding Ahora Inc., Morales was a consultant at M.B.S. LLC, Management & Strategy Advisory. She previously spent 18 years at Bank of New York Mellon, serving in the accounting group, the daily valuation and implementation group, and  most recently, as project manager 鈥 accounting service. Morales began her finance career at State Street Bank & Trust Company.

Dedicated to community service, Morales serves on the boards of the Bethany Congregational Church in Lynn and as a member of the North Shore  Chamber鈥檚 Thrive Advisory Council. Morales is the co-founder and past CEO and president of The Jolgorio de Mass Inc., a non-profit that advanced leadership among Latino youth by supporting and funding educational programs in Boston.
