Salem State Community Chorus Concert I 7-8:30 pm
The Salem State Community Chorus presents: For the Beauty of the Earth: Songs of the Sun, Moon, Earth and Stars under the direction of Lynn Shane.
The program includes a mix of traditional music, popular music, musical theatre, and selections from the standard choral repertoire. Among the works on this musically rich program are: "For the Beauty of the Earth" by John Rutter, Craig Hella Johnson's arrangement of Dolly Parton's "Light of a Clear Blue Morning"; "City of Stars" from the movie La La Land and "Sunday" from Sunday in the Park with George by Stephen Sondheim and much, much more.

The Fulbright Program fosters international educational exchange, building enduring connections between the U.S. and other nations. With funding from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and support from various global entities, the program operates in over 160 countries worldwide.
