Join us for this year's Wellness U Multisport Festival. Win prizes for your department by achieving the highest percentage of your department’s students, faculty and staff that participate in any of our events including: the swim games in the O’Keefe pool, running/walking event at Forest River Park, and/or softball home run derby on Alumni field near O’Keefe! Salem State administration will recognize winners of first, second and third places with memorable plaques as well as gift cards to be spent by the departments as they see fit. So whether you’re there to participate for fun or competition, to support your fellow classmates or even just to dance with the Salem State mascot, come on down and enjoy a fun day of food provided by Chartwells, prizes and friendly atmosphere! Admission to the events is free however you must be either a student or faculty or staff member at ´ºÃÎÖ±²¥ to participate.

Softball at O'Keefe - March 24
11:30 am-12 pm Set up the field
12-12:15 pm Stretch/Organize teams
12:15-12:30 pm First teams face off until winner is determined or time runs out
12:30-12:45 pm Next teams face off until winner is determined or time runs out
12:45-1 pm Next teams face off until winner is determined or time runs out
1-1:15 pm Next teams face off until winner is determined or time runs out
1:15-1:35 pm Final round will begin, winner takes all style
1:35-2:15pm Awards, food, music, dance
Run/Walk Forest River Park - March 31
1-1:15 pm Stretch
1:15-2 pm Running/Walking
2-2:15 pm Stretch/Cool down
2:15-2:45 pm Awards/Food/Music/Dance
Course: The asphalt loop through the park. Complete as many loops in 45 minutes.
Optional department theme dress up. Show team spirit in funky matching outfits!
Water Games at O'Keefe - April 7
1:15-1:30 pm Warm- up
1:30-1:45 pm Swim event
1:45-2 pm T-shirt relay
2-2:15 pm Water basketball set-up
2:15-2:30 pm 3v3 Water basketball tournament
2:30-2:45 pm 3v3 Water basketball championship
2:45-3 pm Splash Contest
3-3:30 pm Awards, food, music, dance
T-shirt relay: With teams of 4, one swimmer must swim across the pool in a T-shirt and remove the T-shirt for the next swimmer to relay to the next side. The first to complete 4 lengths is the winner.
Water basketball: Using water basketball nets, we will have a 3 on 3 tournament in the shallow end. We can have multiple games going on at once since 3v3 can be played in a small area.
Splash contest: The diving boards will be in use for this event as will have a contest to see who can produce the biggest splash, and with flare. Judges will judge each attempt 1-10 and the winner with the highest scores total wins.
