If you were sexually assaulted, you deserve support. We have on-campus confidential and non-confidential support services available for all students. If you have experienced an assault or are experiencing relationship violence or stalking, there are confidential places are on campus where you can talk to someone, and they will tell you your options without having to give your name to the university. These include:

For additional services, you can contact your local , , ´ºÃÎÖ±²¥ Police, or your local police department can direct you to services, including:

• Preventing pregnancy
• Testing and preventative treatment of sexually transmitted infections
• Testing for date rape drugs
• Evidence collection

Additionally, Salem State faculty and staff are trained in how to direct you to campus resources, which you have a right to as a Salem State student.

They may also be required to inform the Salem State Title IX Coordinator who handles reports to let them know you might want help. This does not mean that a police report will automatically be filed. However, it does mean that the school is responsible for taking the report seriously and investigating based on what you want to tell them.
