“As an English major from Nanjing, China, studying at Salem State has allowed me to make new friends and improve my English through the rich study of literature and writing.  I also have been able to learn so much about the culture of the United States and from the cultures of my fellow international students.  I enjoy the small classes at SSU and the ability to interact with my professors.  The history and culture of Salem is also quite fascinating and the scenery is beautiful.  I also got to experience Halloween in Witch City!”
