Title Testing Waivers In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, GRE, GMAT and MTEL testing has temporarily been waived from the application requirements for a number of our graduate programs through spring 2026. Choose the program option best for you Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Physical Education The MAT program is for those pursuing an initial license in physical education. Master of Education (MEd) Leadership in Physical Education The MEd program is for those who already hold an initial license in physical education. Graduate Application Process Title Graduate Programs in Physical Education Application Process Required Materials $50 non-refundable application fee Official transcript or transcript evaluation, documenting the award of a bachelor's degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Three references Statement of purpose English Proficiency, if applicable for international applicants Graduate programs in physical education do not require the GRE or MAT Additional requirements for the MAT program Passing scores on the Communication and Literacy reading and writing MTEL and physical education MTEL. Additional requirements for the MEd program Copy of initial license in physical education Deadlines Applications accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed once complete.
