Summer Financial Aid
Students who wish to receive financial aid for the Summer semester must meet the following criteria:
- Be a matriculated (degree-seeking) student at ´ºÃÎÖ±²¥.
- Have a valid ) on file for the current aid year.
- Submit the Summer Financial Aid Application listed on the page.
Financial aid eligibility is based on the number of credits a student is enrolled in. Students must be enrolled in at least six credit hours to receive federal financial aid.
Summer Enrollment
To ensure timely processing and notification of aid, students must register for all their Summer classes (for all sessions) by 11 pm on the first day of the SummerAdd/Drop Period, which ends one business day after the first class meeting. The Add/Drop Period for each semester and each session can be found on the Academic Calendar.
If a student changes their enrollment, does not attend, or does not complete a registered course, their aid will be adjusted, and they will likely owe a balance. Unpaid balances will result in a hold on their account.
Financial aid is earned based on days of attendance. Students who do not complete their Summer courses will be subjected to the calculation, resulting in loss of aid. This return calculation can occur AFTER Summer classes have concluded and will result in a balance due.
If a student decides they no longer want to attend a class they have registered for, they MUST drop the course(s) online. The student is responsible for ensuring that their schedule matches their intentions.
Summer Refund Policy
If a student withdraws from courses:
- Before or during the Add/Drop Period, they will receive a 100 % refund
- Between one and three calendar days after the Add/Drop Period ends, they will receive a 50% refund for their tuition only; no fees will be refunded.
- No refunds will be given four or more calendar days after the Add/Drop Period ends.
